First and formost big shout out to everyone who came out to RE-union @ the Avalon Nightclub. For those who missed out, .. you definatly missed a great party. As for what happend this week the Grammys were big news, but it seems like the Rhianna/Chris Brown "altercation" overshadowed the annual musical event. Its been publicized that Chris Brown(rnb star) was arrested for assaulting Rhianna(pop diva), in doing so, He has canceled some of his upcoming tour dates like this weekends NBA AllStar Game and his Double Mint Gum endorsment has been suspended. So I guess Chris, nothing is "forever". As for people calling it a rap for this young mans career, lets be honest, .... He was a bigger headline in the News this week, then the actual Grammy's event. You cant buy publicity like that, watch both of these young stars capitalize. Reports say that Rhianna, has also canceled upcoming tour dates, and has gone back home to barbados to be with her family, aka get away from the camera. Led Zeplin front man Robert Plant was a big winner at the Grammys, while Lil Wayne took home 4 awards including Rap ALBUM OF the year, ... beating out the likes of NAS, LUPE FIASCO, JAY Z, AND T.I. Speaking of T.I., amazing preformace at the awards featuring JayZ, Lil Wayne, Kanye West (and his mullet) along with a fully pregnent M.I.A (who was actually supposed to give birth on Sunday, ..) All of this, along with the typical old school, new school collabarations, sums up what happend at the Grammys.
